LTS CATERING YOUR NEW SCHOOL MEALS SUPPLIER!

LTS Catering is part of Leicestershire County Council and we have been providing school dinners for over 40 years. We use our breadth of experience to ensure your child receives a well balanced, great tasting lunch. Healthy and nutritious food is our passion. We only use high quality ingredients sourced in line with the Soil Association Food for Life Campaign. We are proud to have been awarded a Silver Accreditation in all of our primary schools for the last three years. Lunchtimes

Lunchtime from September is 11.45 am to 12,30 pm for Reception children and for KS1 pupils and between 12.30 pm to 1.15 pm for KS2 pupils.

Pupil Premium funding/Free School Meal funding

Applying for pupil premium funding (‘Free school meal’ funding) is simple. No income details are required, all you need is your National Insurance number. Click here to Apply Online, or ask for a form from the school office.

For each successful application the school receives an extra £1,320 funding per pupil.  As well as providing pupils with free school dinners continuing through KS2, the funding is focused onto the child’s learning.

Even If you are not sure if you will qualify. please apply as you might be successful if you get:

Your child will get free school meals if you receive any of the following:

  • Income Support
  • Income Based Job Seekers Allowance
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • Child Tax Credit – but no element of Working Tax Credit – and have an annual income (as assessed by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC)) that does not exceed £16,190
  • If you are supported under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • Guarantee element of State Pension Credit
  • Working Tax Credit during the four week period immediately after your employment finishes or after you start to work less hours per week
  • Universal Credit with an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400 (as from 1 April 2018)
